Stegosaurus

Stegosaurus was a huge herbivorous tetrapod in the late Jurassic period. They were huge and large herbivorous tetrapods with a round back, short forelimbs, long hind limbs, and a high tail. Stegosaurus is one of the most well-known dinosaur species due to its unique combination of wide, upright bone plates and spiked tail.

The function of the stegosaurus bone plate has been speculated by scientists. Today, it is generally believed that their spiked tails are most likely to be used to defend against predators, and their bone plates may be used primarily for display and secondarily for thermoregulation. Stegosaurus has a relatively low brain mass ratio. It has a short neck and a small head, which means it is likely to eat low-lying shrubs.
